The luster is flashy and satiny throughout, delivering an almost-prooflike aesthetic in the fields. Small bagmarks are present under inspection but the overall complexion remains nicely composed and delightfully attractive in-hand. <p>While the 1890-CC is relatively available in relation to other Carson City double eagles, it still faces severe conditional challenges. Less than 500 are thought to exist in Uncirculated condition and PCGS has yet to certify any example finer than MS-63+.
