1877 Liberty Seated Dime. Fortin-105. Rarity-5. Reverse Type I. MS-66 (PCGS).,An original and richly toned Gem, apricot and sapphire iridescence glimmers across the obverse of this wonderful Rarity-5 jewel, with deeper steel blue and lavender patina on the reverse. The surfaces are pristine and untroubled by blemishes, remaining satiny and lustrous throughout. This is scarce early state of the Fortin-105 dies, struck prior to the crack that ascends the latter portion of the date. However, a fine die line in Libertys lower drapery and doubling on the denomination otherwise aid in attribution. Gerry Fortin suggests a premium of 50%-100% for this scarce marriage, stressing the desirability of the present delightful piece.,PCGS# 4682. NGC ID: 23AL.,,
