MS-64 (NGC).，Uniform deep golden olive with accents of soft blue, violet and rose when the piece is turned in the light. Prooflike through the fields in nice contrast with the satiny high relief devices. A couple of superficial-looking oxidation spots but none is serious in the least. Nice eye appeal overall, and rather rare. Believed to have been struck by Kline at the time of the Centennial Celebration in 1876, though Musante was not able to find auction appearances to narrow the date beyond the cutting of the dies in 1867 and their sale to Kline in 1872.From the Tim Gabriele Collection.
