MS-63 (NGC).，A total of 335 of these medals were awarded in silver, although this one is uninscribed. Regarded as one of the most finely executed of all exposition medals, it is surprising the work was not signed by the sculptor. It was produced by Gorham Manufacturing Company, then from Providence, Rhode Island, whose mark is on the edge, but not visible in the holder. Dark matte pearl gray, lightened somewhat on the very highest parts of the design.
