Eglits listing was retained by Rulau but he notes that neither Eglit or Storer actually examined either of the two sizes of "Bizzarri" medals. Bust of Columbus, one quarter left, inscription COLVMBVS OCEANIAE CLASSIS PRAEFECTVS CHRISTOPHORVS around. Inscription U. & A. Bizzarri Roma on truncation. Reverse with one of Columbuss ships anchored offshore, three landing boats rowing toward the beach. Dates MCCCCXCII / MDCCCXCII below. The two previous catalogers refer to this as lead, but this specimen seems to be a bronzed tin-based pot metal.
