This note is the first we are offering of this splendid large format foreign bank design by Bradbury Wilkinson & Company. The face shows with two dragons opposing one another with both chasing the pearl of wisdom. Additional dragon at center in black inks seen behind blue overprinted "ONE, HUNDRED, DOLLARS." Large left and right "100," counters in black inks and ornate bordering designs in a multitude of color. Verso seen with sharply detailed vignette of a bank building at center and flanked by facing dragons with pearl of wisdom at top center. Just a hint of circulation on this piece and seen with deeply embossed paper. The note is tied for the finest known in the PMG population reports with none having achieved and Uncirculated grade.
