This highly interesting piece is one that we have never previously seen and shows in a vertical format at the face and horizontal format on the back. Quite large and seen in blue and yellow with Seal of Municipality at top center.
The note is with several printers annotations which suggest the item was originally a trial design. The back is quite beautiful printed in a deep red color with Sun Yat-sen at center and lions at upper left and right. Light blue under-printing contrasts nicely and ornate guilloches further the appeal. Light even circulation with only a notch at the upper left and two blue ink stains at the left center of the back. Possibly unique and an item that advanced collectors will surely appreciate.Choice Very Fine
