This Very Fine offering will certainly be well regarded among banknote experts as this denomination is not frequented in any form. Seen in a larger format than the lesser Sen denomination and with similar primary design with facing cockerels and dragons. Ornate counters at the corners and seen with a yellow bordering design and under-print. Back seen again with "1 yen in silver," at the top and ornate ovular design below in yellow-orange.
