1916年自由贸易站人 NGC UNC-Details。1916 Standing Liberty Quarter. Unc Details--Improperly Cleaned (NGC).;With an overall sharp strike and suitably lustrous, satin-textured surfaces, this is an appealing Mint State example despite the stated qualifier. Handily outdistancing its closest rival in this regard, the elusive 1918/7-S, the first year 1916 is the most eagerly sought issue in the Standing Liberty quarter series.
Only 52,000 pieces were produced -- a paltry total by the standards of the 20th century United States Mint -- and survivors are instantly salable at all levels of preservation. This more affordable Uncirculated survivor is sure to be of interest to a great many bidders.
