1875-CC Liberty Seated Quarter. Briggs 1-A. MS-62 (PCGS).;Vividly toned Mint State quality for this underrated issue. The obverse is awash in blended cobalt blue, antique gold and steel gray patina, while the reverse exhibits target toning in powder blue, champagne pink and pale apricot. Both sides are sharply struck with intense satin luster. Perhaps the most underrated Carson City Mint quarter, the 1875-CC is much rarer in all grades than even a limited mintage of 140,000 coins might imply. With most survivors worn to one degree or another, this Uncirculated example is particularly significant.
