1918-S Buffalo Nickel. MS-64 (PCGS).;Sharp striking detail, intense satin luster and an overall smooth appearance define this as a conditionally scarce near-Gem 1918-S nickel. The eye appeal is also superior, thanks in no small part to iridescent golden-apricot and pale lilac iridescence that drifts over both sides. Likely an MS-65 were it not for a minor planchet lamination (as made) in the center of the obverse.
