1936 Lincoln Cent. FS-102. Doubled Die Obverse, Type II. MS-66+ RD (PCGS).;The obverse of this Top Pop Gem is a hybrid of pink grapefruit and golden-wheat hues, complementing the more consistent copper-rose shades that saturate the reverse. The surfaces are richly satiny and virtually untouched, with just a region of darker patina at the lower left reverse to be noted. <p>This interesting DDO was first hubbed by a working hub for 1935 cents that had a broken left leg to the letter R in LIBERTY, a feature that is plainly evident on the present coin when examined with the aid of a loupe. The present piece ranks among the finest examples of the FS-102 variety to be evaluated by PCGS, tied with just two other coins at this premium level.
