About Uncirculated.;Choice semi-reflective deep mahogany surfaces with just a trace of rubbing on the highest points, scattered contact marks noted in the fields. All three references above note that this particular Coronation medal, one of dozens of design for the event, was gold plated, looped and used to present to Native Americans and visiting First Peoples. This example shows no evidence of gilding, or of there ever having been a mounting attached.
