1917-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Obverse Mintmark. MS-64 (PCGS).；Rich steel-blue, pale lilac and golden-orange patina appears to drift toward the border on the obverse. For the reverse, we note more vivid blue, gold, red and pink peripheral toning around a brilliant center. Satiny in texture with a well executed strike, this is a premium quality near-Gem with some claim to an even higher grade. Popular as one of only two Denver Mint Walking Liberty half dollars with the mintmark placed on the obverse, the 1917-D is also eagerly sought due to a limited mintage of 765,400 pieces.；
