YEMEN. Order of Marib, Grand Officers Set of Breast Star and Sash Badge, ND (Founded 1972). ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.，Werlich-1338; Vernon-Not listed. The ten-pointed 77 mm Star with 10 rays of alternating faceted silver and smooth gilt rays surmounted by another plaque, in blue and white enamel, in the form of alternating Fleur de lis flowers and buds. At the center is a gilt-edged red enamel disc with MARIB (in Arabic) inscribed in gold. The back is blank except for the makers name and hallmarks on both the medal and the hinged tunic pin. The 60 mm hanging badge is similar, but with a looped fleur de lis suspender in place of the tunic pin. The 100 mm x 1.1 m unfinished watered silk blue, gold and red Sash (which matches similar items sold at auction, but differs from the colors described in Werlich) is quite fresh-appearing and does not yet have a clasp or attachment for the badge. This Order is named for the ancient capital of the Sabaean Kingdom, and was founded to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Republic of Yemen. <strong>VERY RARE</strong>.，ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.，
