After the annexation of territory in Sylhet, Indra Pratap Narayana helped the ruler of Sylhet to repulse a Mughal invasion. In the light of this it is somewhat surprising that his coins are so scarce, RB recording only a single Mohur, three dated Tankas, and a few other Tankas of fine silver with fabric similar to the trade coins of previous reigns, found in Bangladesh. The Quarter-Tankas are almost as rare, and this coin is the only one from this reign in the Rhodes collection.
