For more information please view Terms and Conditions for Buyers.。Dharma Manikya?s reign seems to have been interrupted by the activities of Jagat Manikya, a descendent of the earlier ruler, Chattra Manikya. Jagat enlisted the help of Muslim forces the result of which was the permanent Muslim hold on the plains of Tripura from then onwards. It is not clear whether Jagat ever ruled as king ? no coins are known in his name ? but around 1728, Dharma was restored to the throne for a brief period, most likely as a Mughal puppet.
