Sungei Buloh was approximately 15 miles North of Kuala Lumpur. The name Sungei Buloh translated from Malay is Bamboo stream and refers to the stream running through the Settlement. As a point of interest the kingfisher design was proposed by the Matron at the Settlement due to the presence of this bird by the stream. About uncirculated and extremely rare, only a few example believed extant today.
