This Superb Gem is an outstanding candidate for a Registry Set where it would serve with distinction. The 1908 compares favorably with the 1893 as an underrated condition rarity in the Barber dime series. This lovely example exhibits attractive mint luster and delicate olive-gold and rose-russet highlights. Both sides are exceptional for the assigned grade level and the strike is razor sharp from the rims to the centers. With a mintage of 10,600,000 pieces, the 1908 is often regarded as a "common date" among circulation strike Barber dimes. However, in Superb Gem Mint State, as here, the 1908 is seldom offered and more challenging to locate than many other issues in this series.,,PCGS# 4846. NGC ID: 23F7.,PCGS Population: 2; none finer.,
