This "S" experimental replacement note makes a wonderful matching pair with the previous lot. In fact, this is the first time we have ever offered a Gem example of either of these two extremely rare replacement notes. As discussed in the previous lot, the "S" stands for special, as the BEP used a different formula of paper to test its durability and longevity. After its trial period they found the results to be inconclusive and continued to use the current paper. The note itself is seen with jumbo sized margins all around. The colors are impressive and the embossing can be seen easily through the PMG holder. ,
