Boldly lustrous and visually striking for the nearly full silver brilliance displayed on both sides. Just a faint blush of soft champagne toning is evident. Struck from clashed dies, and artifacts from this event remain visible on both sides in spite of the mint efforts to remove them. Fine parallel die lines are seen in the fields on both sides. The coin is superbly struck with bold definition of all elements, including a wire rim around much of the circumference. One of the finest survivors of the date.
