Obverse depicts a perched eagle facing right, with coat of arms at far right and Italia and "R" mint mark in exergue; Reverse: Romania, date, and denomination at center, with peripheral legend reading "METALLVRGICA ITALIANA PROVA". Well struck with razor sharp denticles and legends. A touch of clear light redwood tone with luster consistent with the alloy the coin was struck in.
