D-4212; CNI XII-68. Draped bust; Reverse: Saint John baptizing Christ. The only piece seen at PCGS. Struck during the middle of his long 53 year reign, as Cosimo III Medici steered Tuscany into a relentless economic decline. The piece offered here shows little of the extenuating circumstances the once great city-state was in at the time. Exceptionally well preserved with considerable original mint luster. Glistening silver surfaces with a thin clear pewter color tone dominating the balance of the coin, with no flan flaws or other detriments. A sensational example by any measure, and sure to add considerably to the prestige of the collection it joins.,PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder.,
