东晋十六国丰货 美品LATER ZHAO: Anonymous, 319-352, AE cash (2.15g), H-12.2, feng huo, without obverse inner rim, crude Fine, R, ex Zhao Quanzhi Collection. The inscription "feng huo" literally means "The Coin of Abundance" and is written in seal script. They were cast by Emperor Shi Le in 319 at Xiangguo (now Xingtai in Hebei) with a weight of 4 zhu. They are known as the Cash of Riches - keeping one piece of this type was said to bring great wealth. However, the historical record states that the people were displeased, and that in the end the coins did not circulate. Rubbing images are reversed in the Hartill catalog of Cast Chinese Coins.
