A lovely assemblage of silver and bronze minors, mostly Roman and Byzantine, with some Greek issues as well. All are pedigreed from previous Stacks sales attesting to their enduring popularity as types. Notable Roman Republic Denarii types are present, including the issue depicting the killing of Tarpeia (Cr-344/2c). Another interesting Republic era Denarius depicts the introduction of the first physician into Rome (Cr-442/1a). A wonderfully diverse lot with rich history to explore.
