Tibet, Anonymous, forgery of a 20-Tam Srang, struck in gold, 11.16g, T.E.15-43 (YZM - ; KM -), PCGS XF Details According to Tibetan informants from Kathmandu this beautiful forgery was made in the 1960s by the late Kunsang Pentok (kun bzang phan thogs) who was known among the Tibetan exile community as Nyalam Amchi ("doctor from Nyalam"). For many years he was director of a private clinic in Kathmandu, and he is also reputed to have produced excellent forgeries of the Tibetan 100 Srang banknotes.
