Islamic - Early Pre-Reform,ARAB-SASANIAN: Aslam (Asram) b. Anfawa, fl. 686, AR drachm (2.66g), GD (Jayy), AH67, A-F27, standard obverse with the Pahlavi name read as aslm i awpawa, though the patronymic seems more like swphan, with small Pahlavi monogram in ObQ1 // standard reverse with clear mint & date, clipped down to a later standard, VF. The only other known example is in the Fitzwilliam Museum, #CM.IS.31-R. This is the second known example. The Fitzwilliam example is illustrated by Hodge Malek in Volume I, p. 272, with a brief discussion of what little might be known of this governor.
