SASANIAN KINGDOM: Khusro I, 531-579, AR drachm (4.17g), ML (Marw), year 5, G-195, SAS-4.518 (type I/1d), Göbls type 2, which was used only in years 4 and 5, distinguished by the reverse, with a unique version of the attendants crowns, elegant form of the attendants with their arms raised and akimbo as on the previous series type 1, which has a different crown and the their arms no longer raised, nearly XF, RRR. This is the first example of the type 2 that we have offered, and a wonderful example!
