BAHAMAS. Bahamas Monetary Authority. 100 Dollars, 1968. P-33a. PMG Very Fine 25.The 1968 $100 from the Bahamas is the second rarest variety of that denomination, after only the extremely rare triple signature variety of 1965. Eight notes are listed in the PMG population report as of the time of cataloging, but only two are graded in uncirculated condition, making this one of those rare instances where a fairly modern note is still very desirable even at the Very Fine level. The present example has some light ink on the back, but it impacts little of the printed design and in your catalogers opinion is less distracting than annotations often found on these notes. Viewed from the front, it is fresh and the overall appearance is strong. A desirable note and much in demand, with offerings very infrequent at best. PMG Comments "Ink."From the Jerry and Diane Fishman Collection.
