RUSSIA. 10 Rubles, 1771/69-CNB. St. Petersburg Mint. Catherine II "the Great". PCGS MS-61.Fr-130A; KM-C-79A; cf. Bit-24 (for regular date). Tremendously struck across both sides, this incredibly attractive and alluring example displays a rather clear overdate, with the "6" evident below the second "7." The only such example of the type in the PCGS census, it delights with golden-yellow hues and surfaces that are seemingly as pristine as the day upon which it departed the mint. A VERY RARE and exceedingly important opportunity for the advanced collector of Russian coinage.
