Weight: 1879.57 gms. 萬載縣 (Wanzai County) stamped across the top, 宣統貳年肆月 (Xuantong era, 2nd Year 4th Month) stamped in two columns to right, 江西官銀號伍拾兩 (Jiangxi Official Bank, 50 ounces) stamped in two columns to left. Wholesome and original looking, this nicely preserved large format ingot displays attractive gray patina with areas of richer coloration in the protected areas. The stamps are deeply impressed with bold clear characters. Minor earthen deposits in crevasses add to its originality and pleasing appearance. A handsome example of a type that seldom appears on the market that is sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
