PMG Extremely Fine 40.The note offered in this lot is one of the finest examples of this scarce type listed in the Canadian Note Registry. It traces its pedigree back to the stock of Canadian dealer Richard Lockwood in late 1979. It is one of just a handful of notes listed in grades above Very Fine, including a piece permanently impounded in the National Currency Collection. While this example has some minor stains and small tears, neither of which impacts much of the printed design. Overall, this example faces up better than most other examples of this series, and is worthy of inclusion in an advanced Canadian Chartered collection. PMG Comments "Minor Stains, Small Tears."
