1941-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-66+ (PCGS). CAC.Representing the scarcest issue in the 1941 to 1947 "short set" in high grade, this is an exceptionally well preserved example that ranks among the higher graded examples seen at PCGS. Satiny smooth, vibrantly lustrous surfaces are dusted with a hint of peripheral toning that accents the sharply struck devices. Due to the rarity of the 1941-S in MS-67, we suspect the<em> PCGS Population Report</em> shows some duplication of submissions at the MS-66/66+ levels in hopes of attaining a Superb Gem grade. This high end Gem is worthy of placement in any advanced set.PCGS# 6613. NGC ID: 24S5.
