Green and red on pink, supported arms at upper center, $5 within protectors at each side, FIVE in red underprint letters, hand signed at lower left, reverse green. A very scarce early issue denominated in MEXICAN DOLLARS with a meager total of six graded by PMG to date, and this is the SECOND HIGHEST GRADE, bested by one example in 25. Although 1912 was the last year that notes denominated in Mexican Dollars were issued, the Dollar notes were issued soon after in May 1913, so the two notes most likely would have circulated alongside each other. An early note that will excite even the veteran collectors! PMG Comments Piece Added, Repaired.NoFrom the Voyager Collection of Foreign Banks in China Part 1.
