Coin turn. Glossy dark brown with brassy highlights. Boldly struck and showing superb detail, lightly smoothed to gloss in the fields. A long straight scratch descends from B of BERG in the left obverse field. Two minuscule rim nicks are seen atop the obverse. An exquisite piece, accomplished in 1538, during Tadinos retirement from a storied career as a military engineer and artillerist.From the Santini Collection of Renaissance Medals.
