1927-D Peace Silver Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS).A dusky silver-gray brilliance dances across both sides of this angelic Gem from the Denver Mint. The luster is satiny and uniform, accompanied by silky smooth surfaces that reveal no troubling signs of contact. Struck to a quantity of just 1.2 million coins, down substantially from the 2.3 million dollars struck in Denver the year before. Though this issue is readily available in all grades up through MS-64, premium Gem examples like the present piece are truly sparse.
