Obverse: Diademed and horned head right; Reverse: Poseidon standing left, with foot propped upon rock, holding trident and resting arm upon leg; monograms to inner left and inner right. A bold and attractive Hellenistic issue with a terrific portrait of one of the most formidable Diadochi. Some smoothing and repairs visible on Demetrios cheek, but the coin is otherwise lustrous, crisp, and impressive overall.From the S.P. Rutherford Collection.
