Islamic - Early Post-Reform UMAYYAD: AE fals (3.22g), Tawwaj, AH102, A-L205, fully legible on both sides: mint below amar Allah bil-wafâ wa-adl on the obverse and before the date in the reverse margin; lovely example, unpublished and unique! VF, RRRR. This is the first reported Umayyad fals from Tawwaj. The mint is well-known and only slightly rare for Arab-Sasanian silver drachms from the AH70s and early 80s (as TART) and an exceedingly rare unique silver dirham dated AH82, the earliest reported fals is of the Abbasid Revolution dated AH132 (only recently discovered!) and some undated normal Abbasid fulus.
