Islamic - Early Pre-Reform ARAB-ARMENIAN: Muhammad, ca. 690-700+, AR zuzun (2.83g), "ShY", meaningless "date", A-F97, Khusro style, with the name Muhammad in Pahlavi before the bust, and Arabic waf ("current, good") in ObQ2 instead of bism Allah, attractive strike, evenly worn, VF, RR. Actually struck in the Armenian or Azerbaijani region, but "ShY" for Shiraz is merely copying a Sasanian host; the actual mint location for Arab-Armenian coins is unknown.
