The key denomination of this series and a deceptively scarce note to find in any grade. Small splits are noticed on this example but they do little to detract from the overall appearance of this piece. The present note is surpassed in the PMG population report by just two finer examples and a look at the Canadian Note Registry reveals that this is one of the nicer examples of this type recorded by them. The only other variety of this denomination (Walker - Logan signature combination) is unique and is permanently impounded in the National Currency Collection.
