PCGS Banknote Choice Uncirculated 64.A type typically seen heavily circulated, finding it at the choice uncirculated level is extremely difficult, and your cataloger has seen fewer than a handful of this type that can be considered uncirculated. They are typically in strong hands, and this is a note that in any grade above VF appears at auction in a once-every-few-years kind of frequency. This type, with a fantastic color scheme, is one of the most attractive of the various British Honduras types. Unfortunately, it was short-lived and was replaced by a much more mundane green color later in the 1940s. This is an important opportunity for the British Commonwealth specialist and the first uncirculated note of this type we have been able to offer in our lengthy auction history.
