PMG Choice About Uncirculated 58 EPQ.A deceptively difficult type to find in any format, this 500 Mil Reis was printed by the British firm of Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. and appears to have had a total print run of 300,000 notes, as indicated by the serial number range on this specimen. PMG has graded just three specimens of this type as of the time of cataloging and no issued examples. While this example has seen just the faintest handling that keeps it out of an uncirculated holder, its appearance is strong, and this will no doubt be a welcome addition to an advanced Brazilian collection. We must mention that this is the only piece of the three graded that has received "EPQ" status.
