BRAZIL. Thesouro Nacional. 200 Mil Reis, ND (1901). P-74s. Specimen. PMG Choice About Uncirculated 58.Another very scarce and desirable specimen from this important series of Brazilian notes that was produced by the British printing firm of Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. This type like most of this series essentially uncollectible in issued form thanks to their rarity, although specimens are not much more available. This example is one of just three in the PMG population report, and in the census, it falls right in the middle. In the PMG holder, it faces up like an uncirculated note, but the grading service must have seen some handling that limits the grade. Nevertheless, an important offering and a well-designed and attractive banknote.
