A preiment RARITY from the Iranian series, standing as amongst the most fabulously designed and interesting of all Persian Medals. Produced as a presentation medal given to the Shah and high ranking officials that traveled with him to Paris. Only two examples of this medal in gold have surfaced, making it amongst the most elusive of pieces to acquire for any collector of Persian numismatics. The surfaces glow with a soft lustrous eye appeal, an a semi-matted surface texture. An example of the highest importance, and a piece for which we foresee no shortage of active bidders. To view all items from the Yasmin Collection, click here. From the Yasmin Collection.
