A scarce almost uncirculated 50 Gulden from the famous Wayang series of the Javasche Bank. While the three lower denominations are fairly frequently encountered in aunc to the unc grades, the 50 Gulden (and higher denominations) are scarce to rare at this grade level. They were just not saved at the time of issue, making high grade survivors rare. This piece displays strong originality and light circulation signs resulting in an overall pleasing appearance. Important opportunity for the Indonesian specialist not to be missed.
