1836 Classic Head Half Eagle. HM-7. Rarity-3. EF-40 (PCGS).Sharp detail at the assigned grade level. Both sides are dressed in an original light olive color with splashes of deeper orange in the protected areas of the design. After the first year 1834, the 1836 is the most readily obtainable half eagle of this type. Most survivors are well worn and a fair number are impaired.
