拍品描述： MEXICO. 500th Anniversary of the Fusion of Two Cultures Gold Medal Set (5 Pieces in Set), ND (ca. 1992). Mexico City Mint. CHOICE PROOF.AGW: 5.00 oz. Struck in 0.500 fine gold. All share a common reverse design of Spanish Conquistador fighting an Aztec warrior while the obverse features different iterations of Mexican Eagle as depicted and flags, other objects and numismatics. All are bright and flashy with the exception of the early Republic and early 20th Century designs which each have a thin veneer of tone. Housed in original case of issue with certificate of authenticity serial # 492.<p><p>1) The Aztec Eagle from the Codex Mendoza beginning in the 15th Century.<p><p>2) Iturbide Eagle beginning in 1822.<p><p>3) First Republic Eagle beginning in 1823.<p><p>4) Early 20th Century Eagle beginning in 1905.<p><p>5) 20th Century Eagle beginning in 1936.From the S.P.
