Bronze Age Discoveries. Type I. Golden leopard. An EXTREMELY RARE and quite possibly UNIQUE pattern issue, this represents the only such example seen at NGC, with none having been seen at PCGS. This design was ultimately selected for the gold 200 Yuan type struck later in 1981 (Fr-11; KM-46). The faintest, most subtle spots are observed on the reverse, but this shimmering, radiant specimen otherwise tantalizes the eye and would seemingly be a bit conservatively graded.
