PCGS EF-40.一型 ("卅八年")，尖足1，长衬线，大八，粗壹圆。流通痕迹轻微，币缘处色泽较深。L&M-842 (for type); K-1275 (for type); KM-Y-46.1; WS-1326; SGSC-232-3 (for type; this coin illustrated). Type 1 ("year 38"). Variety with pointed-based "1" with long serif, large "eight" and thick "one yuan". A lightly circulated example, and one that yields some deeper hues nearer the edges.From the SGSC Collection.
