民国卅八年新疆省造币厂铸壹圆银币。(t) CHINA. Sinkiang. Dollar, 1949. Sinkiang Pouring Factory Mint. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, AU Details.一型 ("卅八年")，尖足1，长衬线，大八，粗壹圆。数字及铭文与标准版略有不同，较为粗犷，饶有趣味。如标籤所述，经过轻微清洗，币缘处重新养出包浆。L&M-842 (for type); K-1275 (for type); KM-Y-46.1; WS-1327; SGSC-232-11 (for type; this coin illustrated). Type 1 ("year 38"). Variety with pointed-based "1" with long serif, large "eight" and thick "one yuan". An interesting variant featuring numbers and calligraphy that differ from the norm, in that they are a bit less refined. Lightly cleaned as noted, with some color reappearing nearer the peripheries.From the SGSC Collection.
